Introduction

Coral Sun Airways is a registered domestic airline of Kiribati. It is currently re-fleeting its aircraft from Piston engine to Turbine engine aircraft suitable for the Kiribati domestic and regional market. 

Coral Sun Airways is 100% I-Kiribati owned. Founded in January 2009 and is affiliated with parent company - JMR GROUP limited, of Abarao,Tarawa, Kiribati.

Objectives

The objectives of Coral Sun Airways is:

• To provide a safe and reliable air service to all of the islands in the Gilbert group (Makin to Arorae)
• To offer Locals and Tourists an alternative means of air travel.
• To enhance Tourism and promote Business development throughout Kiribati.
• To introduce a weekly freighter service to all of the islands with attention focusing on avoiding outer island cargo shortage.
• Fleet Planning will focus on an aircraft capable of providing a reliable air service linking the Line and Phoenix with the Gilbert group under a domestic service.
  

Management

Coral Sun Airway's management team have extensive experience in the aviation industry. 

Managing Director -JEFF JONG. 

Ex-Boeing 767 Airline Pilot and has been in the industry for over 20 years. Began his flying career in the Kiribati Islands (Air Tungaru) then moved to Fiji (Air Fiji), Nauru (Air Nauru) and Japan (All Nippon Airways).
